The context

As FastrBuild grew, the repeatable work multiplied — lead capture, follow-ups, reporting, CRM sync — quietly eating the team's best hours.

What I built

I automated it in n8n. Lead capture flowed straight to the CRM, follow-up sequences fired on triggers, reporting assembled itself. The busywork stopped being anyone's job.

What I learned

The goal of automation isn't to remove people. It's to point them at the work that actually needs a person — judgment, relationships, taste.
