The context

The idea was a work ecosystem for collectives — shared projects, shared accountability, shared upside. The instinct was to hire engineers and build it 'properly.'

What I built

Instead I built the entire MVP on Coda. Full workflows, real users, a working product — zero lines of production code. It shipped in a fraction of the time and cost.

What I learned

This was the moment leverage stopped being a buzzword. Tools aren't a shortcut around doing the work. They're a multiplier on knowing exactly what you're trying to move.
